"I have been feeding all 7 dogs for 3 plus weeks now...and progress is good.
Firm non smelly stools from all. All happy to eat it, and they seem satisfied with less quantity in bowl. Skinny 3 yr old male is putting on weight and looking good, and leaving a bit in bowl at end of meal.
Very allergic dog seems ok, a bit difficult to tell as this is the time of year when he suffers the most due to tree pollen, but I don't think he is any worse than normal. Certainly have not had to increase his steriod dose, so that is positive.
Cattle dog who is allways hungry and on starvation diet most of time seems less focussed on food between meal times.
Convalescent dog ,18 months, ate 100 ml Metacam and nearly killed herself has also been weaned from prescription diet onto your food, and has gained the 5 kg she lost while in hospital and gloss is back in coat. Her gut is fine too.
So, all in all very good. Now a long term trial is needed to see if we can keep pregnant bitch in condition, and producing lovely pups, as well as keeping all the others in good condition over the summer competition months. I will be monitoring any changes in behaviour too. Will happily keep you informed.
Next bit is to take a sack to parents old stiff dog to see if he gets a bit easier with a change of diet. He is OLD so not expecting much change)".
