As with humans, certain food types can be deterimental to a dog’s health. Anything with too much sugar or salt or too many spices may cause a digestive upset. Grapes and raisins are toxic to dogs and should not be fed at all. Chocolate, onions and garlic can also be damaging if consumed in large doses.Although dietary intolerances can be formed to almost any food, there are certain foods that are much more likely to cause problems and should therefore be avoided:
· Milk and dairy products
· Wheat products
· Soya products
· Overly processed foods
· Foods with any artificial ingredients
