Adult Feeding Guide
Fit healthy adult dogs can be fed once a day and they can be fasted for twenty four hours once week - this suits their digestion. There is nothing wrong with feeding more often but make sure more often does not mean a larger amount of food overall - one of the major causes of demise in dogs is obesity. Below is a table to show our recommended feeding guide for adult dogs of all breeds.
Feed once or twice a day, dry or moistened with a sprinkling of warm water.
Any changes to your dog’s diet should be done gradually. If you are changing onto Natural Dog Food from another brand, we would recommend introducing the new food over at least 3-5 days. Mix a little of the new food into the existing diet and gradually increase the amount until only the new food is being given.
Fresh water should always be available as usual
